Marvin in the kitchen

 Marvin was in the kitchen while his parents were in the living room watching TV. They could hear a few sounds coming from the kitchen but they didn’t bother to get up and check so they just sat there and watched TV. Marvin was crawling around the kitchen seeing what he could get his hands on. He sees his cat's food Frizzy. He crawled and thought it was food that he could eat, so he sat down, picked up the cat’s bowl and started munching it till it was all gone. Dad starts to get hungry so he walks into the kitchen for a snack. Then suddenly he can see Marvin munching on Frizzy’s food.

The snowy walk

 It was unusually cold for this time of the year. However we had big coats, comfy woolly gloves, big track pants, a jersey underneath, scarf, big woolly and socks, and some snow 

shoes for when we went on our big walk on Mount Rainier. It is the most snowiest mountain on the planet. We start to get our gear ready and off we go in our car. As we get closer and closer to the mountain we start to notice fog and snow flakes drop down from the sky. We then see cars parked up so we must be at Mount Rainier. We park up and start to walk up this track leading to the snowy mountain. Ariki is putting on his snow shoes but I am waiting till we get up there because I don't want to walk on the concrete path with those shoes. We reach the end of the track and find ourselves at the start of the mountain. I put on my snowshoes and we begin our walk. To be continued…
